Episode 500 – Stories In Ink – Caught in the Web of the Criminal Justice System

Spiderwebs worn as tattoos on the elbow, back, or knees often tell a story of feeling “Caught in the Web” of the U.S. Criminal Justice System.

How do people who seek to live good, spiritual lives – lives modeled after Jesus or the Kingdom of God, for example – interact with that system? Because as good as intentions may be, there are cracks, fissures, and in some cases, total collapse.

The Hebrew Bible, and the Christian Bible, talk extensively about caring for prisoners as if YOU were the one imprisoned. Maybe the best way we can do that, is by addressing, fixing, and reforming the Criminal Justice System.
